Introducing Nelson to our Team

A massive welcome to Nelson, our new addition to Tūtaki Youth Inc.

 

Team Tūtaki would like to share a big welcome to Police Project Leader Nelson PULOTU.

 

The New Zealand Police, through its support of Tūtaki, advertised for a Police Project Leader and Nelson came out on top. Nelson replaces Simon Howard in the day-to-day operations of the NGO Tutaki Youth Inc.

 

Nelson teamed up with Kim (kim@tutaki.org.nz) are responsible for making sure we do our absolute best in the services we provide.

 

Nelson has a background in working with communities which shown in his experience and leadership in the Marfell Boxing Academy. Through this work, he recognised potential and talent in his community and supported those who needed help. This saw Nelson recognised as Taranaki person of the year in 2014 (see articles below).

Nelson is a Police Officer who ”embodies” the importance of community and partners. He is passionate and eager to continue the work that has been done and to take the project into the future.

We are very excited and feel confident that our partners, funders and the people we support will all cherish this hardworking and caring individual.
