Sam has worked at Tūtaki since 2015.  She is a Children’s Social worker working with children aged four to fourteen.

Sam enjoys ensuring young people feel happy, confident, safe and free to be themselves in their everyday environments. To achieve this she works alongside whanau, schools, social service agencies, hobby clubs and any other support networks already in place for the child.

Sam feels passionate about being a friendly face that is involved in the community so all children feel safe and confident to access Tūtaki as a service. She offers children’s support one on one or in groups running self-esteem, healthy relationships and emotion management programmes. She also offers support around drugs and alcohol use.
